Ashlee Simpson Confirms Pregnancy

Pete Wentz and his new bride, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz confirmed Hollywood's worst kept secret Wednesday: they're going to have a baby.

On his site friendsorenemies.com, Wentz wrote, "We wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we were expecting our first child. This is truly a joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

The couple married in L.A. on May 17 and snuck off to honeymoon in Turks and Caicos last week, after tricking the paparazzi into thinking they were holed up in a basement eating frozen pizza.

Ashlee Wentz told People magazine that she would "love to have a big family one day." We can imagine it now: she teaches them how to lip sync, while Papa Pete shows them the joys of guyliner and skinny jeans.
