Ashlee Simpson is currently getting ready for her acting role on the new Melrose Place spin-off, but don’t think she has given up on music completely.

It’s been reported by Popsugar that Ashlee and her father Joe Simpson have been discussing the idea of her recording an album of Michael Jackson tunes.
